Shannon Taylor, Executive Vice President of Sales
Shannon is an Executive Vice President of Intercare Insurance Solutions, responsible for directing the company’s sales team and expansion activities.
He is also a member of Intercare’s leadership team.
Possessing more than 25 years of experience in employee benefits, Shannon has an established reputation in the industry as an exceptional strategist and leader. He brings to this role a strong technical background in health care strategy, provider networks, underwriting and alternative funding mechanisms, and an exceptional track record of delivering client results.
Prior to joining Intercare, he served as Vice President of Sales at UnitedHealthcare, where he led the company’s Southern California sales team. Prior to UnitedHealthcare, Shannon held sales and management positions with Cigna and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
Shannon earned an MBA degree, with dual concentrations in Strategy & Organization and Leadership from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He also holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Marketing from the University of Illinois.
