San Diego, CA – Intercare Insurance Solutions, an innovator in employee benefits, wellness, retirement and risk management solutions, today announced that Senior Vice President Julie Beacock has been named to the Advisory Board of Directors of Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD).
FHCSD is a private non-profit community clinic organization that is an integral part of San Diego’s healthcare safety net. Since 1970, FHCSD’s mission has been to provide comprehensive, accessible, quality healthcare services to all income levels in the San Diego region, with a special commitment to low income, medically underserved individuals.
The organization operates twenty-nine locations throughout the County of San Diego, including 12 primary care clinics, three dental clinics, an HIV clinic, and three mobile medical units which provide healthcare services at approximately 61 community sites. In 2009, FHCSD cared for more than 134,000 individuals through approximately 562,000 patient encounters.

Ms. Beacock joined Intercare in 2009, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the insurance broker/consultant profession. She specializes in advising clients with complex employee benefits, and property and casualty insurance needs, both domestic and abroad. This work includes evaluating and developing cost-saving insurance programs that mitigate risk and improve employee health and productivity, using proven and innovative methods.
Ms. Beacock has been active in the San Diego business community for more than 10 years and involved with several non-profit and for-profit organizations, with a primary focus on supporting women, children and the underserved community. This work has included serving on the Boards of AeA (American Electronics Association, now known as Tech America), The University Club, Young Professionals of Santa Barbara, and International 20/30 Organization.
